At Brightside Consulting & Bookkeeping we offer a wide range of services that are completely customizable to your current needs. Whether you need an ongoing bookkeeper or have a one time project for your website we can help! 

The very first meeting will be for us to get to know each other. There will be a lot of questions about what you are looking for and what it is that you will be needing assistance with in your business. I will want to get to know your day to day operations, what it is that you are happy with currently and where you would like to see any improvements. We will discuss if you are looking for just bookkeeping services or if there are any other ways that I can be of service. I would also like for you to get to know me better to make sure this is a good fit for both of us.

Once we have both agreed to move forward I will request any necessary documents, including but not limited to, bank/credit card statements, access to your books or website, depending on the services that you have requested. I will also send my initial invoice for services. Once payment has been received I will begin working on your specific tasks.   

No. Brightside does not require anyone to agree to a specific length of term for services. 

There are several options for billing terms.  

• If you are receiving recurring monthly bookkeeping services there will be a set monthly amount that will be charged. In this case, we do request a 30-day notice if you will no longer be needing services. If for any reason we need to resign we will also provide the same amount of notice. 
• Purchasing recurring monthly block of hours. This is a good option for businesses that have a tasks that require a specific amount of time each month. We also apply the 30-notice requests to this billing option.
• Purchasing an individual block of hours. This block can be used over a 6 month period. This is a good option for businesses that need sporadic help or are interested in trying our services for the first time.
• Per project. This is an option that is available for overall projects such as, websites, CRM integration, updates or clean-up, for example.

We will work together to determine the best billing option based on your needs.

Yes, I am able to provide tax services to individuals with W-2's. However, I am not able to provide tax services to those with highly complex tax situations at this time but please feel free to reach out. I can assess your situation individually and if it is outside of my scope I can provide a referral.
